|
Through an intensive and thorough screening process, Israel's most promising students are located on the seven leading campuses throughout the country. Together, they create a team of unique individuals with outstanding talents in a range of fields.
|
|
|
The flagship StandWithUs Israel Fellowship brings together Israel's elite students, leaders and representatives. Endorsed by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Union of Israeli Students, this prestigious program trains outstanding students from major Israeli universities and prepares them to assume leadership roles in Israeli society. Fellows are taught by some of the brightest and most well-known leaders in academia, international affairs, public diplomacy, politics and history. Throughout the academic year, the Fellows learn to debate, run campaigns, build coalitions, and understand the media - important skills they can take into the world to advocate for Israel. They are also actively involved with StandWithUs International programs and ultimately become the "human face" behind the headlines as they go out into the world and break hundreds of stereotypes about Israel and Israelis.

Many IDF soldiers feel a deep sense of injustice at how some anti-Israel groups are misrepresenting them and the IDF. They wanted to tell you, the public, about their personal experiences.

IsraeliSoldiersStories.com is a grassroots movement of Israelis who have served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and want to share their experiences via our amateur videos.
Israeli civilians face many threats to their security, which is why army service is mandatory for most young men and women after they finish high school. Men typically serve three years while women serve two years in the army. After their army service, most men and some women are required to do army reserve duty for some 30 days each year until they are in their 40's, sometimes longer.
StandWithUs launched a U.S. speaking tour for Israeli soldiers. Soldiers recounter their personal experiences of serving in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) including the 2009 military campaign against Hamas in Gaza. The soldiers tour University campuses and cultural centers in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and more.

Over 300 students flock to a packed lecture hall each fortnight to hear unique perspectives on the State of Israel. This prestigious StandWithUs program attracts some top names.

StandWithUs International is proud to work with the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya to create the premier tool in Israel advocacy for students at the IDC's renowned Raphael Recanati International School.
More than 200 students from over 30 countries flock to packed lecture halls to hear the foremost leaders in the country speak on a wide spectrum of topics. From media to the economy and history to demography, participants are challenged to learn about subjects which are vital in Israel advocacy. Students are armed with the latest research and polling data and taught how to present Israels case.
At the end of the year-long program, students receive an accreditation endorsed by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Most important, they return to their native country equipped with the skills necessary to present Israel's case effectively to North American, European, and other international audiences.

The StandWithUs International Student Programs provide study-abroad students with the necessary tools to advocate for Israel.

Thousands of students come to Israel from around the world to study, tour and volunteer for a semester or a year. StandWithUs’s International student programs in Israel arm students with the tools they need to best represent Israel once they return to campuses around the world. Our aim is for them to leave Israel being educated, dynamic and informed advocates for Israel who will have had first hand experiences with the situation on the ground. Some of them come from campuses where anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism are on the rise and students often do not have the tools or knowledge to effectively respond. This program, which runs throughout Israel provides these students with the necessary tools to tackle anti-Israel sentiments and counter the misinformation that is being promoted about Israel.
